USO Partners with Gillette to benefit troops via USO Operation Phone Home® Program!
In partnership with the USO, Gillette® [PG], the world’s leading male grooming brand, is donating one million units of talk time via prepaid phone cards to U.S. troops deployed overseas. The $50,000 donation to the USO Operation Phone Home® program will dramatically improve the lives of troops deployed in harm's way and their families at home.
Gillette will also embark on a promotional tour to 43 Defense Commissary Agency locations across the United States in May and June to engage and educate consumers about the USO and Gillette partnership while demonstrating the features and benefits of select Gillette products. NECCO's "Red White and You"!
NECCO
The New England Confectionery Company (NECCO) has come up with a unique, heartfelt way to say “thank you” to America’s troops! Sweethearts® - America’s favorite way to show love at Valentine’s day – brings a new way to show appreciation and support of our nation's military this summer with the Red, White & You Sweethearts, featuring 13 phrases like “Proud of You”, “Home Safe”, and “Miss You.” These new red, white and blue hearts come in three flavors: Strawberry, Blueberry and Vanilla Creme and can be purchased at retail stores nationwide starting in June.
For the months of June and July, troops both here and overseas will be treated to the new Red White and You Sweethearts in Operation USO Care Packages throughout the summer. Operation USO Care Package enables the public to express their support of our men and women in uniform. Sponsoring a care package and including a personal message provides individuals with a way to touch the lives of our deployed troops around the world. For every $25 donation you make, the USO will send a care package with both needed and requested items valued at approximately $75 to a deployed service member. The USO is teaming up with MyBoneYard Recycling to help the environment and support our troops in just a few simple steps! MyBoneYard™ helps people like you recycle electronic devices such as cell phones and laptops in a smart, responsible and eco-friendly way. MyBoneYard is the Simple, Safe and Smart way to recycle your old electronics. When you recycle through the USO/MyBoneYard site, ALL proceeds go to benefit the USO! E-Bay Mission Fish
You can help support the USO while selling on eBay! It's a safe and easy way to donate proceeds from an eBay auction to the USO. Just list your items with eBay Giving Works. Make sure to select USO World Headquarters as the organization you want to support! Learn more about Mission Fish!
Car Donations
The USO is now accepting vehicle donations. Donate your car, truck, boat, trailer or RV to the USO today!

USO Operation USO Phone Home®
Prepaid, international phone cards are given free to service members, especially those in Afghanistan, Iraq and other overseas locations. Help deployed service members call home by donating to Operation Phone Home today. Donate online and choose the "donate to a specific program" option.
United Through Reading® Military Program
The USO, in partnership with Family Literacy Foundation, is proud to offer the United Through Reading® Military program at select USO centers worldwide. Service members are able to record themselves reading a children’s book aloud. The USO sends the DVD and a copy of the book to the children in their lives back home. Donate online and choose the "donate to a specific program" option.
Operation USO Care Package
Distributed to deploying service members, care packages may include snacks, entertainment items, toiletries, sunscreen and other items requested by troops. With a donation of $25 you can sponsor a USO care package and include a personal message of support and encouragement. To support Operation USO Care Package, click here.
