USO Care Package for Women - Launch!

On Wednesday, November 18, your USO welcomed Dr. Jill Biden, Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Congresswoman Susan Davis, Congressman Silvestre Reyes, Admiral Mike Mullen, Sheila Casey (wife of Army Chief of Staff Gen. George Casey) and other members of the USO Congressional Caucus in honoring women in uniform at the first “USO Care Package for Women” event. Held in the Rayburn Building on Capitol Hill, this groundbreaking event resulted in over 2,000 care packages stuffed and ready to deliver to female troops deployed in Afghanistan and Iraq.
