Marine Corps Marathon

Run for a reason and dedicate your marathon to a great cause! Runners are invited to join Team USO for the 35th Marine Corps Marathon, to be held October 31, 2010. The MCM is the fifth largest marathon in the country and attracts more than 30,000 runners. Nicknamed the 'Marathon of the Monuments', the MCM passes many historic sites, such as the Lincoln, Washington, World War II, and Jefferson Memorials.
By joining Team USO, you will receive a guaranteed entry into the 2010 MCM or 10K race. Each runner is asked to commit to a minimum fundraising goal. By helping to raise funds for the USO, you will receive a variety of benefits. Perhaps more importantly, you will have made a positive difference in the lives of our troops and their families.
Service members deployed in Iraq or Afghanistan can also participate as a Team USO member through MCM Forward.
All proceeds raised by Team USO will go directly to the organization to help fund vital programs and services for our men and women in uniform and their families.

Marine Corps Marathon Participants
Fundraising Commitment = $1,000
Benefits:

-Invitation for you and a guest to a complimentary pasta dinner with the team the night before the race
-Access to support tent before and after race in Charity Village

-Aluminum Water Bottle (for runners who raise at least $1,500)
-Performance Running Hat (for runners who raise at least $2,000)
-Embroidered Fleece (for runners who raise at least $2,500)
MCM10K Participants
Fundraising Commitment = $300
Benefits:
-Guaranteed entry into the 2010 MCM10K
-Team USO singlet or technical t-shirt for race day
-Access to support tent before and after race in Charity Village
-Storage of personal items during the race
-Access to team coach
MCM10K team members will receive the following incentive items as they reach the designated donation levels:
$750 – USO t-shirt
$1,000 – MP3 Armband
$1,500 – Aluminum Water Bottle
$2,000 – Performance Running Hat
$2,500 – Embroidered Fleece
Already Registered for the Marine Corps Marathon?
If you have already obtained entry by registering directly with the Marine Corps Marathon, you can still join Team USO. There is no registration fee and no fundraising commitment to join. However, runners will receive the following incentive items as they reach the designated donation levels:
$300 – Race day performance singlet or shirt
$750 – USO t-shirt
$1,000 – MP3 Armband
$1,500 – Aluminum Water Bottle
$2,000 – Performance Running Hat
$2,500 – Embroidered Fleece
