Vice President, Information Technology & Chief Information Officer
Timothy Kobosko joined the USO as vice president of information technology and chief information officer in October 2009. He is responsible for creating and running the digital and information environment in which the USO serves troops and families around the world.
Kobosko has more than 11 years of experience in information services, and recently served as vice president of information services for the U.S. Naval Academy Alumni Association. In this position, Kobosko created the association’s first information services team, produced a stable, high-availability data network and partnered with software and data center vendors to advance the business of the association by implementing appropriate products and technology.
Kobosko, a former Naval Officer, earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the U.S. Naval Academy, a Master of Administrative Science from Johns Hopkins University and a Master of Business Administration from Loyola College in Maryland.
