Vice President of Operations, Programs and Services
Steven M. Missimer is Vice President of Operations for Programs and Services. In this position, Steven is responsible for all programs and services worldwide for the active duty military community and their families. He also is responsible for evaluating potential new and existing programs for their impact on the USO’s customers as well as the efficiency with which those programs are delivered.
Prior to joining the USO, Steven was founder and president of Potomac Enterprises, LLC, a business consultancy specializing in Operations, Business Development and Strategic Management.
Prior to starting his own company in 2004, he served in various positions, working as Vice President of Managed Services at Paradigm Solutions Corporation, Director of Onsite Operations for NCS Pearson, Program Manager and Business Development Manager at Unisys Corporation and as Business Manager and Senior Operations Manager at Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC).
Steven served 12 years in the U.S. Air Force as a Program Manager with assignments in Albuquerque, N.M.; Oahu, Hawaii; Fort Walton Beach, Fla.; Aviano, Italy; and Wrightstown, N.J.
A Philadelphia native, Steven has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management with Honors from National-Louis University.
