Jeffrey M. Hill, retired Navy Commander, serves as USO World Headquarters, vice president, Operations (US). In this capacity, Hill is primarily responsible for providing operational oversight for all stateside USO centers, and developing and implementing standards of excellence to ensure consistency and quality with respect to the programs and services that are provided in the name of the USO. He is also responsible for directing all programs and services, governance and administration, financial development, marketing, advertising, and public relations.
Prior to his appointment with the USO World Headquarters, Mr. Hill served as president & CEO of USO of Hampton Roads. Previously Mr. Hill served as Executive Officer to the Commander of Naval Amphibious Base Little Creek, Va. There he was responsible for overseeing the bases operations and administration. As the assistant program manager for Public Safety for the Navy’s Mid-Atlantic Region, Hill was responsible for overseeing the police/security, fire departments, and public safety offices for every Naval Installation in the Mid Atlantic Region, with over 2,000 employees. He also served in numerous diving and salvage tours in the Navy’s Special Operations branch, including command of the diving and salvage ship USS Grasp (ARS 51).
The Kansas City, Mo. native graduated from the University of Maryland in 1982 with a bachelor’s of science degree in architecture.
